Directions to "A GetAway" - 1997 Ivy Mountain Road, Hiawassee, GA (706) 896-5754
400 N to the end of the highway (Long Branch). Approximately 58 miles from the Lindbergh entry of 400. Continue across intersection. Go about five miles to the next stoplight. You will see a BP gas station on the right. Turn right to BP and you will be on 52/115 East. Continue on 115E. toward Cleveland. When you near Cleveland, go left on 129 North. This will take you around the square in Cleveland. Go straight on 75 Alternate at the light. Watch for a right "jog" of 75 Alternate as you go further down the road. As a good sign, you will pass Mountain Lakes Resort on the left. At the junction 17/75 turn left for Hiawassee on 75 North. Turn left on 76 toward Hiawassee.
When you get to Hiawassee make turn on to Rt. 288. From there turn on to Fodder Creek Road . Take Fodder Creek Road to Martin Road. Travel on Martin Road to Lake Louise Road. . Continue past lake and straight onto Ivy Mountain Road. Bear to the right. Follow the road around until you reach 1997 (A gray/blue house with a porch across the front) House is on the left and sits on a corner lot.
